Do you like reading books inspired from the Hindu Mythology? What was your last 5 star read?
Let's just take a minute to appreciate how beautiful the cover is? Mesmerizing! Isn't it? In his book 'The Wielder of the Trishul', Satyam Srivastava brings out one of the greatest war stories between the Devas and Asuras. In the mythical planet of Dhruva-Lok, rests Lord Shiva's Trishul whom none could wield since centuries. With prophecy, oath, boon and curse, the stage is set for a heroic clash between justice, duty and love! The author has done a great job in describing and developing all the characters and situations that one can visualise it easily. Author's narration and his grasp over his writing skills, ensures the emotions twang right in the heart. The characters are very well built. They are strong and independent and have their own different charismatic effect on the overall plot. I liked the way author portrayed the character of Indra who is one of the most misunderstood gods in present times. The narration of the story is crisp engaging which keeps the reader hooked throughout. The twists and turns are very well plotted and executed. Satyam Srivastava is definitely an author I would like to read more work from. A Must Read for Mythology lovers!
