Happy Halloween!
It's Halloween, so I decided to try making these two yummy recipes from A Cookbook for Special Days, Special People by Shivesh Bhatia. This book contains 42 amazing recipes of desserts and dishes for 21 special occasions to celebrate all the wonderful relationships in your life and all the special days! Both the recipes turned out very good and had an amazing taste. The recipes given in the book are easy to make and need little or no adult supervision. So, they can be easily made by children al well. It is a great pick, especially for those who are about to start their baking journeys or have just started. So every time you want to tell the special people how special they are, or celebrate a special day in a special way, reach out for this delicious book of recipes and cook or bake something and make sure to stir in some love too! The title of the book is eye catching and matches the concept perfectly. The language of the book is simple and easy to understand. The concept of the book is brilliant and the cover is very beautiful. The author's story telling skills are excellent, for a nonfiction read, the book is very gripping and will keep you hooked. They are strong and independent and have their own different charismatic effect on the overall plot. The narration of the story is crisp engaging which keeps the reader hooked throughout. In her book The Story of My Experience with Truth, Usha Paul Raj has shared some of the most valuable and insightful lessons of her spiritual journey. I was reading this book slowly to understand the depth of her journey. I was amazed by her enthusiastic approach of life. The author's story telling skills are excellent, for a nonfiction read, the book is very gripping and will keep you hooked. The author's writing style is such that it felt like she is having a conversation with her readers. Overall, it's an amazing book with gripping narrations! What's your take on the cover and title? The narration of the story is crisp engaging which keeps the reader hooked throughout. The twists and turns are very well plotted and executed. Right from her first encounter with Deep in Guwahati, there's something about him that fascinates Punam. They bond over games of carrom and daily dinners with Aata and Aaita, enjoying the memories the old couple share. Punam soon begins to realise that maybe, being isolated in a corner of Guwahati isn't all that bad. Author's narration and her grasp over her writing skills, ensures the emotions twang right in the heart. She gives an amazing sketch of a family, a region and the COVID-19 era. The characters are wonderfully described by the author. The portrayal of every character is so lively and vivid, that even after the book is finished those characters will stay in your mind. The narration of the story is crisp engaging which keeps the reader hooked throughout. The twists and turns are very well plotted and executed. It's a short read 68 pages that one can easily finish in one or two sittings. It's a cute and captivating love story! |
