Do you like reading mythological fiction? What was your last 5 star read?
Mauri by Saiswaroopa Iyer is a story of the women who wanted to kill the man whom others call God. With her father's death shattering her world, Mauri is torn away from everything she had once loved. Anger has replaced every emotion within her, and she seeks only to kill her father's killer, Krishna Vaasudeva. Someone is standing in the way though, reining in her bitterness when she is least prepared for it-the rakshasa prince Ghatotkacha! A daughter's quest for revenge against Lord Krishna. Can love overcome vengeance? The author has done a great job in describing and developing all the characters and situations that one can visualise it easily. Author's narration and his grasp over his writing skills, ensures the emotions twang right in the heart. The characters are very well built. They are strong and independent and have their own different charismatic effect on the overall plot. The narration of the story is crisp engaging which keeps the reader hooked throughout. The twists and turns are very well plotted and executed. Highly Recommended for Mythology lovers!
